The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected. The items below are our most frequently selected services, for a complete, current price list please contact us.

All services include an online memorial with photo and biography.

Basic Direct Cremations....................................................695.00

Our charge for a direct cremation (without ceremony) includes: basic services of funeral director and staff; a proportionate share of overhead costs; removal of remains (home, nursing facility, hospital, medical examiner); transportation to crematory; necessary authorizations; and cremation if relevant. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative container encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are a fiberboard container or an unfinished wood box. There is no after hour fees or fees for holidays or weekends. Price covers Pierce, King, Kitsap, and Thurston counties. Does not include viewing, embalming, or death certificates. The ashes will be returned to the family in a closed sturdy container, purchasing an urn is optional.

Cremation with Memorial Service ...................................... $995.00

Our Cremation with Memorial package includes the Cremation Package plus a memorial service. In addition, an online tribute makes the honored person's story available to distant friends and relations via the Internet.

House of Scott Funeral & Cremation Services will not be responsible for those fees; however, will will strive to maintain current information.**Setting fees will apply for the headstone. Family will have to pay setting fees to cemetery and make an appointment with cemetery to select grave space.

Except in certain special cases, such as interstate transportation by air, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with a viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

The only warranties express or implied, granted in connection with goods sold with this funeral service are the express written warranties, if any, extended by the manufacturers thereof. No other warranties and no other warranties of merchandising or fitness for a particular purpose. All sales are final on merchandise as soon as the item is ordered.
